Kickin' For Christ is a program set up to help students learn to use the Bible (we like to call it the Sword of the Spirit) more effectively. This is done by giving the student an incentive for learning an memorizing passages of scripture. The Program basically consists of several groups of Bible Verses, each with different themes. The student will memorize each set of verses and recite them in front of the instructors. Along with the verse memorization the student will also submit a thesis paper dealing with that particular topic. The award for completing each theme is know as a "Spiritual Warrior Award"; a patch to be worn on the cuff onf the left leg of the uniform with each additional patch being placed directly above the previous patch. The Sword of the Spirit Award The Sword of the Spirit Award is the most presteigious award given by Murphree's Kenpo Karate. To earn this sword, one must
complete all 7 of the themes by learning all of the Bible verses and completing every essay along with succesfully passing
the Black Belt test. Upon meeting all of these requirments, the recipient will recieve an actual sword in a secial ceremony.
